Ted Burrows Home Movies

Grandad’s movies were made on Super 8 cinema film, which many of us will remember seeing in their flickering glory back in the day, projected onto a screen in Nana and Grandad’s front room. They were transferred (pretty poorly, it seems) onto VHS tapes in the 1980s and subsequently onto DVD. I have taken this digital version a processed it through Adobe Premiere to try and brighten and optimise the images, and have applied a new soundtrack that hopefully retains the charm of the “original” VHS version, with music appropriate to the content. Still a bit rough by modern standards, but still an amazing collection of memories to savour.

I took the opportunity to make a shorter version more pertinent to my immediate family.
